FAST specializes in the design and development of value added hardware cryptographic systems. At the heart of every FAST hardware system is a dedicated cryptographic processor which offloads the computationally intensive cryptographic operations from the CPU of the host platform in order to improve the overall system performance. The design and implementation of FAST’s cryptographic processors, from cryptographic key generation to encryption and decryption, follow the international standards and the best practices of the security industry. Compared to software security products, FAST’s hardware products achieve both higher performance and better security. FAST’s products are divided into the FAST Series and the SAFE Series.
The FAST series of products meets very high performance and security requirements and targets the security industry's needs to serve large customers in sectors such as banking, government and etc. There are two families of products within this series: Cryptographic Modules and Cryptographic ICs.
The SAFE series is mainly developed for the non-technical consumer market with "convenient" and "easy-to-use" in mind. It addresses the increasing data privacy concerns of many computer users today. easySafe is the first family in the SAFE series. It is a one-for-all data protection solution for users to protect data in their PCs, external hard disks, USB flash drives and other data storage devices such as memory sticks and CDs.
